Point Rock Solutions Awarded 8(a) IDIQ PBX, Routers, and Switches Multiple Award Contract (MAC) to support the SPAWAR mission

Lansdowne, VA – Point Rock Solutions (Point Rock) has been awarded the Private Branch Exchange (PBX), Routers and Switches Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). PBX is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a maximum value of $650 million, and will provide equipment and accessories to SPAWAR through November 2019. SPAWAR delivers higher-end Navy information technology products and services to the fleet and other Defense Department stakeholders. SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic provides full-service systems engineering and acquisition support to rapidly deploy capabilities. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic reports directly to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command located in San Diego, CA. Major stateside offices include South Carolina, Virginia, Louisiana, Florida and Washington, D.C., as well as overseas posts in Europe, the Mideast and Antarctica.

Through PBX, Point Rock will provide the Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal agencies with immediate access to the communications and networking solutions needed to improve mission effectiveness. Agencies can leverage this contract to lower costs through volume discounts and procure a wide range of advanced communications and networking solutions. These are designed to improve situational awareness and operational efficiencies, foster superior decision-making during warfare, homeland security missions and disaster response.
