GSA Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to own client delivery and people management and to support growth for the General Services Administration (GSA). As an Account Manager, you will bring a deep understanding of the Account’s mission and be excited about helping the client achieve their objectives. You will work closely with an Account Business Development Director and an Account Architect to drive new business and organic growth. You will serve as a mentor for emerging leaders in the account and contribute to acquiring, retaining and nurturing talent. In this role, you will be a key contributor in shaping and executing strategy to meet our corporate goals.


  • Manage delivery and growth across a GSA portfolio of existing programs and potential new customers within the account
  • Responsible for client management, building and maintaining partner relationships, people management and innovation support
  • Drive organic growth and support new business growth including capture and proposal development in partnership with corporate resources for substantial opportunities
  • Ensure effective delivery on existing programs and expand footprint. Have customers that are satisfied with the quality, user adoption, and the overall value of the delivery as measured by customer satisfaction assessments
  • Manage and oversee compliance of contractual requirements
  • Meet delivery, growth, financial, and employee satisfaction goals
  • Manage a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities that can meet corporate and account objectives, and help create resiliency in the organization
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues
  • Monitor the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible projects and requirements; recommend or take required corrective actions


  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT field, with at least 6 years of managing multiple cross-disciplinary IT teams on large complex, programs
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor all dimensions of a business
  • Deep understanding of the Federal marketplace with at least 5 years of experience in one or more of the component organizations with GSA
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering high visibility, challenging projects
  • Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks under strict deadlines
  • Ability to establish trusted relationships with Government POC’s and partners
  • Exposure responding to government solicitation through RFP’s and RFI’s
  • Ability to work in a multi-vendor environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain government security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business, computer science or related field
  • Proven experience in Program Management
