Scope

The Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI, is a multiple-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle that provides the latest in Information Technology (IT), Communication and Audio-Visual (AV) solutions and services and is available for use by all Federal Agencies and their approved support service contractors. The contracts are managed and administered by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) at the NASA SEWP Program Management Office (PM). Created in 1993, SEWP I was the First Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) in the federal acquisition space. Originally, the contract vehicle provided only technology products for NASA and all other agencies. SEWP has continually evolved over the past 30 years, expanding its scope to meet the requests of its customers. The SEWP vehicle represents acquisition innovation within the Federal Government. The program is self-funded through usage fees (0.34%) and provides all Federal agencies with acquisition support - more than 50,000 orders a year. SEWP VI Category A contracts focus on providing Information Technology Solutions. Currently there are over 360 pre-competed Prime contract holders in Category A and millions of products on contract available to customers. These products and services include servers, peripherals, software, supporting equipment and associated training, installation and implementation solutions.

The SEWP VI Contracts are multi-award contracts and are subject to Fair Opportunity (https://www.sewp.nasa.gov/sewpv/fairopportunity.shtml). Contract Holders will be provided with fair opportunity at the individual order level as appropriate per FAR Part 16.505(b), including the SEWP RFQ tools. FAR 16.505(b) (1) provides that each contractor shall be given fair opportunity to be considered for each order exceeding $15,000 and issued under multiple award contracts.

With access to the tool, Agencies can issue a Request-For-Information (RFI), Request-For-Quote (RFQ), Market Research Request (MRR) and Request for Agency Catalog (RFAC). This tool is easy to use and available 24x7 on SEWP's website. All SEWP Delivery Orders must be routed through the SEWP Program Office at sewporders@sewp.nasa.gov for processing.
